Sarah Isbitz works at the intersection of business, space, and human systems.

She began her career in New York as a buyer at Bloomingdale’s, where she developed a sharp understanding of brand, positioning, and the mechanics behind how businesses operate. Working across luxury houses like Eileen Fisher, Burberry, and Hugo Boss, she built a foundation in both aesthetics and performance.

Drawn west by a deeper curiosity about how places function, she studied urban planning at Portland State University after an early chapter in People Operations at Google, where she supported senior leadership recruiting.

Since then, her work has spanned design, development, and strategy—from project management at Ziba Design to development work with Owen Gabbert LLC, and rural economic initiatives with Wallowa Resources.

Across each of these contexts, a consistent thread has emerged: Sarah works to make systems more legible, spaces more meaningful, and businesses more aligned with the people they serve.

Her approach blends commercial awareness with spatial thinking and a grounded understanding of how people actually move through environments. She is particularly interested in where brand, infrastructure, and everyday experience meet—and how those intersections can be reimagined.

She is based in Portland, Oregon.
